Hello! This is my first thread so my appologies if my questions has been aswered before 🙂
Im a mid-high stakes mtt grinder going full time pro. Im wondering what kind of software is the best for mac.
Now im using pokercopilot and iholdemindicator simultaneously while playing. poker copilot as hud and iholdemindicator as a real time calculator that shows hand strength, pot odds, and equity calculator showing % of getting the different made hands by the river. Im quite happy with pokercopilot and i have a 400k hand history base. would suck to start over with 0 hud stats on opponents. However im gonna be playing full time for many years to come and i am considering changing to pokertracker as it seems to have alot more features. Can anyone tell me if there is a merit to changing to pokertracker? is it much better than poker copilot?
Poker copilot is paired with sharscope so in the hud i can see all sharscope stats of villains which is very very usefull in game i believe. can see in 1 second who is the sickoes and who is a giant fish. is this a feature in pokertracker hud aswell???
Also wonder if there are more software for the mac that is good? i also have icmizer, pokerstove and flopzilla….
All responsed are much appreciated

Hi, I’m also very new to TPE, and would also like to know suggestions on to what software to use on mac. I play only on PokerStars at the moment, but i guess that doesn’t matter. I haven’t played with any software the last year, but I understand it can be very helpful.
Very interested to hear other suggestions, but I will check out the software in this thread for now.
Another question: Is everyone basically using software, and recommend me using it, even though i’m a low stakes novice? (loosing player at the moment)

I’m also interested in this thread. Any updates or new comments?
I’m close to pulling the trigger on PT4 because I prefer native Mac software when possible even with my multi-platform experience (I have VMware to run windows on my laptop for working remotely when needed – My day-job is in film visual FX technology so I’m comfortable with most things like this.)
I see a lot of the pro videos are using Ultimate Replayer, which I really like, but based on description it seems PT4’s replayer is better and includes notes (I think I read that). Having notes would be a huge help for recalling table dynamic. It looks like it just offers a deeper introspection during post-reviews, like graphically showing hand ranges based on position and such.
