Hey,
I am winning at 6max cash games SSNL/MSNL but now really want to focus on playing MTT's for a while.
I have read maybe a little bit of HOH years ago, and the only thing that really stuck out was that if your M went below 10 you need to go into shoving mode. Is this still the case?
I really do not want to read the HOH series, I feel they are outdated a little and that I am a good enough player/handreader that I won't learn much from them.
I do have Winning Poker Tournaments OHAAT Vol1+2, and currently reading through the first volume.
It's mainly just hand histories, I was looking for a book that went more into the topic of M, shoving ranges, building a big stack and playing aggressively in the medium/late stages optimally.
Is Kill Everyone the best book for this?
I'll be playing mainly low stakes ($10-$25) MTT's until I am confident enough that I can beat them consistently.
In the past 2 years I have probably played less than 20 tournaments. I think I have final tabled atleast 6, won 3, came 2nd in one last week and usually ran deep in most. The player pools were very small though (<400).
Would love to hear some opinions, and also any recommendations on videos that cover M etc on here.
