Hey bro I am loving the series so far. Its very interesting. I am also a full time player living in Mexico and I am also a huge starcraft fan. I used to play as JosiahW on AP before black friday and I play as 586527 now on Ongame. We should def play some starcraft 2 sometime. I play as JosiahW on there. Hit me up!

The Nash Eq stuff was good but a bit tough to follow with tables popping up and the commentary going back and forth from Nash to table action.

Maybe a 15-20 min. concept video in the future would be a good idea to cover it?

Aside from that, really enjoying this series.

Phenomenal. Two questions: 1) At 6:45 you open A10dd 2x to 120 with 40 bb’s. You get 3b to 280 against a guy with a little bit more chips than you and fold. It’s about 3bb’s more to you.. A10o easy fold. Are you always folding A10s as well or is this villain dependent? 2) At 12:45 guy min raises BU and SB calls. You have 44 in BB with 33bb’s, BU has you covered and SB has 24bb’s. We are clearly getting the correct odds to set mine here but you decide to rip it in with obviously a ton of FE. Do you always jam 44 here?

Keep at it and good luck at the tables!

Love the action! No boring 1 table video.

I also like the nash discussion .. maybe a seperate theory video would be great on that topic. I’m not quite sure if “winner take all” is the correct way to go when figuring out push/fold stuff in tournaments.

For everyone who is looking for a quicker way to figure those things out: read “Kill Phil” and “Kill Everyone” .. they have some nice push/fold charts in there for MTTs. I’ve typed them into an spreadsheet and always with me when I’m playing. All you need to know is your M and then you look up your ranges. Very easy to do while playing – even during multitabling.

jludeobv: good questions. the ace ten suited i could peel but i think pre ante out of position it might be best to fold in general here. clearly the more comfortable you are postflop the wider you can peel profffitably, but i really like to make most of my loose peels in position. the 44 i believe is most proffitably shoved, but i believe you are right calling there is nearly as good. there are many spots in poker where i do raise some, and/or call some, and/or fold some depending on the player and just my random mind. i think its good to occasionally 3b a certain spot in a tourney to mix it up, fold it the majority of the time, and one in a while peel it. being a little random always makes you less predictable.

    great tpe debut!!!
I’m with fkcoolers, it would be great if you make a concept/theory video about the ICM NASH CALCULATOR.

can you talk about your thoughts on your cbet sizing in general in your next videos?

I can swap you a bit of info back..
When you get that annoyin message that kills your hud, instead of clickin Quit, click Continue.
It seems to just keep workin 😉
    Hopefully the same for you.
    Thanks a lot!

Great start. Quite a lot of theory points in the first 2 vids, I learned alot just “watching” the first two on a side monitor while grinding.
I’m a newbie with HoldemResources site, but love it so far. How do I enter payout structure in Nash calculator when we’re far from the final table. Does your winner take all example work for this?

Dave was actually looking at the Nash calculator wrong in the first time he talks about it. In Turbo $55 and the blinds 500/1k he was looking at the CALLING ranges for UTG+2&3 not the SHOVING ranges. If he scrolled down he would’ve seen that K5o is obviously a shove w/ 3bb from that position. I think every other time he talked about it he was looking at it correctly. Just thought I’d point that out.

great to watch an in depth poker pro, doing what he does ! look forward to the series and further vids !! bit confused with the nash usage also though..I’m intruiged to whether the push/call ranges are accurate ?? or what ur opinion of this would be, as of the winner takes all ‘payout input’. I’m assuming, that nash is working off a 9 man sng only..rather than having the correct payout structure and field size assigned .. seperate vid on this subject would be a good idea too 😉
