I’d prefer the ck raise on the flop over the turn with the QJdd seems like a good spot to raise all your draws and made hands. As played I would rather just call the turn since that ace is most likely to hit him and you’re bloating the pot as a dog.

^^^^ but the problem is we virtually have 0 fold equity otf – he’s calling almost always. I suppose we could xr otf and then cb ott then that puts us in a precarious position where he’s gonna see that ace and likely raise us since yah sure that card hits villain’s range. I think I like Hero’s play in this hand I am really impressed that you gave up otr.

Thank you for responding to my questions in your other video – I really appreciate.
@ 42:14 – I don’t fully understand why you would be opening ATC here versus a bb’s 18bb? Is there a narrow window for an opponent’s stack size range when he’s in the bb for you to be raise/folding with ATC? IOW Is this “ATC” window narrowed to just around 18bb or is it wider say 20bb-15bb? Is there a stack size range for hero to be doing this – say 25+bb? Is this otb only or can you do it in other lp places? This particular opponent was at the time of this hand 25/24 but you had a very loose 50/43 (albeit small sample) on your immediate left – doesn’t that change your stealing capabilities (at the very least with ATC)? I hope my questions make sense. 🙂
All in all excellent. I won a satty into a 109 on merge (I am a sad Yank) and am using this video series as prep. I also love that you point out your mistakes candidly and put them into a powerpoint at the end of the vid… that’s good stuff! thanks again.

Hey, thanks for your comment 😉
Well the reason I would prefer those players to have shallower stack sizes is because, they will be defending less or even if they will defend – the flop c-bet will very effective against them. Yes big blind seems to be playing good amount of hands, but as longs as his 3bet tendencies are low, its fine for us to steal with very wide range.
