Big day yesterday, Jersey Shore is back. Watching the Shore is like waking up to stale beer. It stinks, its cheap, its bad for your head, but no matter how many times you say you will never drink again, you do.
This is probably going to get me on the bad side of most online poker players, great!!! Guess what everyone, smoking pot isn't better for you than drinking alcohol. Why are people pushing for it like their are no negative side effects? I haven't smoked pot in a long time and I feel way better than I ever did. Pot won't kill you, unless you get cancer from smoking it too much….but its not like alcohol in the way that it will change your life and everyone around you when you are addicted to it.
Pot makes you dumb, and lazy. I said it, it slows your thinking down to a snails pace. Not only that, when was the last time you did something when you smoked? Nawwwwww bro you are wrong I climbed a mountain last time I smoked, what about the 20 times before that? Look at music these days, they smoke pot and it sucks. 20 years ago people were abusing heroin every day and the music rocked.
I don't care about people smoking, I'm not going to tell them what to do or not to do. I probably would still be smoking right now but I have a medical condition that won't allow me to. For some reason when I smoke my left testicle aches to the point where I can't even fall asleep. So 1 day I decided it just wasn't worth the pain, quit smoking and its been fine ever since. Not only that I am more motivated to go to the gym every day and I play poker at a higher level.
Like alcohol there are also pot hangovers. It isn't a coincidence that you wake up 2 hours past your alarm clock when you hit the bong right before you sleep. Ever wonder why you slept through class?
I'm not anti pot or anti alcohol, I really just don't care. People abuse substance every day and its just none of my business. But I am tired of seeing poker players praise pot all day, its stupid. One kid at my world series table said to me, "you still drink alcohol?", like he is so much better than me because he only smokes pot every second. He was also a dick and his name was Allen. Get over it kids, its a drug no matter what you think of it and it keeps your body from performing at its optimal level, end of story!
