on your full tilt table you have stats for each player showing up…
what software is it ? and does it help you with your game

  2. Deal

Good video. Liked how at times you explained what hand ranges you would open with, flat, 3bet versus just explaining the cards you have.

I found it a little difficult to decipher peoples stack sizes and bet sizes with the two tables in view even in full screen mode. The text was a little too blurry. I prefer bigdogs style of having one table showing but pulling others into view when playable/teachable moments occur on them.

I use Holdem Manager. I don’t pay 100% attention to it as I feel gameflow and paying attention the the table itself is important but its good for seeing if people are opening too wide, or limping really wide, or 3betting really wide – but even then it can be circumstancial. It’s a good guideline for making a decision though if you have no other information.

Deal – if enough other people feel this way I will be glad to change it up, or maybe find a solution that can work with 2 tables on the screen. If anyone else had trouble viewing the screen/stacks then please post here or in the forums, thanks!

    Thanks for the reply Hitthepanda..
I agree with deal in that bigdogs table view is probably the best and its extremely clear.

at 38 minutes on stars you have aq on the button and shove the river when a K shows up. why do you not see a king in his range there?

I’m sorry, I did not see there was another comment here. If you need a quicker reply you can always PM me as that will be more likely to get my attention.

As for the hand, after he limps preflop, calls flop, and calls turn it’s very unlikely he has any K in his hand, it would have to be a hand like KhQh or KhJh or Kh10h etc. Most of these type of hands check/raise and get it in on the flop. The only other king in his range would possibly be Kx where he had a pair on the flop and then made 2pair on the river. Very unlikely as only terrible players would limp/call preflop with Kx, then call 2 streets when an overcard came. This was a 700$ WSOP quallifier so although I assumed the play wouldn’t be great, I didn’t assume he would be that terrible.

Also, what other questions have you ask that haven’t been addressed? I’m pretty sure most of the posts about strategy have been getting some pretty solid answers over in the forums.

    Hope this helped,
    PANDA

I Like the Vid and i like the site. I came over from Poker VT which seems to be a bit neglected/out of touch on some stuff. only request would be the sound is real low like your trying to not wake up a baby.A few times you were right on the mic and it sounded much better ,clearer. Thanks for your work glglgl.

first of all great job guys for running this community.

what is the value here in shoving the river? what kind of hands is he calling that are worse than yours excpet if he had hit the queen? probably he is not calling that many Q hands on the flop ( flush draws would be ch/shove on turn or even ch/r on flop). and his stats are 13/8 if i see correctly. also for balancing – if someone sees you shoving this in the end, this is not exactly a big value hand, so i dont see the balancing spot for bluffs here. i dont know … i am starting to play tournaments 🙂 if i see this kind of shove it seems kind of crazy 🙂
