Entertaining video 🙂 I’ve played quite a few sit and gos w you and yep just as I thought (LOL). Not sure I should watch any more of your videos, I busted out of every tourney I was playing during this either trying to do your moves or trying to play back at someone I thought must be doing one on me. How do you guys get away w this stuff. I always try to push people off the stone nuts 🙁 Sigh..I have a ways to go..

You don’t explain why you clicked back the flop and seem to have no plan for the hand?
Then when he does re-raise you don’t really analyse his range, you just say it’s BvB and put him on a flush draw which is the only hand you beat. I just don’t like any aspect of that hand or the way you analysed it. Looks a lot like button clicking.

Again around 21:00 you say “this is a good spot to squeeze” and then shortly after there is another raise and flat and you say “not going to squeeze here”.
I’d prefer to hear why you would consider a spot good/bad.

I think its a good spot to squeeze because the stacks are deep enough where I’m going to be able to put a considerable amount of pressure on either opponent post flop…however I’m going to want a hand with some equity in able to put opponents to the test.
I assume the next squeeze spot was the QT postflop where I had an inside draw, I probably should have squeezed but I thought I would play tighter because its so early in the tourney and people can’t really put me on a QT there so when it does hit I do still get paid.

I click back the flop because it looks weak especially BvB…where a lot of the times I’ll get at least one more street of value from 33 44 55 66 77, the fact that the 2s are paired tells me that he never flops trips, because he wont raise a deuce pre flop with small blinds/no antes. So his range is narrowed to an over pair or flush draw/total air, and the fact that it was blind vs blind gives me more weight towards getting it in. I also don’t play perfect so I did over value top pair but I don’t mind gambling because having a bigger stack for me increases my edge in the tournament so much that its worth taking questionable spots.

Jeff, i enjoyed most of the video. I found your commentary entertaining and you obviously have game. However a couple of the hands i have major beef with at 43.55 you set mine 66 button vs utg with less than 20bbs.
Then at 53:20 u min raise iso a 23bb stack utg limp with 64s. I think this play is hideous and you then list his range as 55-88 and AA. Basically several hands that u are crushed by. I don’t agree with the limping range either, there are a lot more dominating hands in it. The iso achieves nothing as he never folds and u end up in a pot with 6 high vs a station with a short stack.
I don’t mean to sound like a jerk or anything but i think both of these a blatant ‘fish moves’ and have no place in an instructional video.

also the 64 hand I plan to never take it down preflop but I do take it down most of the time post flop especially if he has low pairs in his range, I’m never doing it for value and the fact that he has 23bb makes it very hard for him to play post

ITHINK THE COMMENT , RE’ the guy that made 2 pr on the turn and checked ( yousaid he played it bad by not betting when he hit 2 pr ) , his flop bet was called by the sb with a FD on board and the card that gave him 2pr also brought the flush, he IMO correctly cked behind to avoid getting ck rsed .
also the hand where you bet the turn witha FD and gutter and got ck rsed and you had to call , and hit the flush , he still busted on the river so why not ck behind with that draw if you are not gonna call a shuv.

That’s an incredibly stupid mistake to make with the stack size, i’m really sorry about that. Also the 64s hand i really didn’t like but i was out of line with my comments. In future i will try to be a lot more constructive with any comment i make. So my sincerest apologies about the unfair remarks i made.
