At 6:20, where you say you can’t 3bet light when the big blind is short because you have to call him….I don’t know if I agree with that. I don’t think he’s ever shoving light. I think you miss a lot of good 3bet spots if you’re worrying too much about short stacks behind, especially on Merge where nobody’s ever deep.

this is an interesting comment because i find myself in this spot a lot where you are in great position to 3 bet (lets say from the button against a late position open) but then you have 12 and 15 bb stacks behind you and you kind of panic at the prospect of calling them. Feel like I might be missing a lot of spots like this for this exact reason. Question becomes do we jsut 3 bet hands like J9ss and then call the shoves or should we just resign ourselves to the idea that someone makes is 2.2x we make it 5x and when someone to act after us shoves 12 bbs we have to fold?
