Pretty meh video.
You were just commentating the action like a TV commentator but with no real talk about strategy, ranges or images. Watching this video in mute or uploading the raw HH would have been the same from a learning perspective.
There were 3 interesting hands. The 5bet shove with AJ, the b/c float with 22 on the flop and the last hand with J4s. In neither hand did you talk about your reasonings, what hand ranges you put villains on or what your future plans are.
Especially in a 1-tabling video with not much action you have to talk about ranges, ICM and stuff all the time – even if you are not in the hand. There were some great 3, 4, 5 and 6 bet battles to comment on.
Anyway..still a great series guys!

I agree with black

At 7:10 Big Dog makes the comment when Aussie_star1 goes All In with A5s “I don’t mind the stuff”. With no draw to semibluff I do not agree with this move. Also Big Dog states that Aussie_Star1 had
24 big’s when it was actually 50 big’s.

At 15:15, he says “my time to 3bet” giving 0 reasoning why. This way, it just looks like he is clicking random buttons. This has been a great series so far, but this part sucks.

I’m a big fan, and I love the videos, but I have to agree with the guys above. In this part, you get a hand, and just say “going to open ace seven here, calling x calling x and folding to x”. There are many amazing spots which you could have explained. The 22 hand vs Aussie star – what were you putting him on? You just said “i’m going to bluff and i’m praying for a fold”. This is a training site, and to be fair, i didn’t learn very much from this video. It would be nice if you could go more indepth in your thinking, instead of just stating the obvious things going on.
I assume you were just having an off day, and were focusing on the play in your head more because there was a ton of money on the line. If that was the case, I think you’d have been better off leaving the FT live sweat out and doing a review of the hand history in universal replayer.

he ships a5s for 24 bigs effective pre flop, blind vs blind. don’t know what you are talking about a draw to semibluff. action is preflop

I am new to making comments here and I believe there is value in both live videos and review of the hand history after the tournament. I found value in watching exactly what the plays were during the live play, what I do is just compare what they do to what I may have done. You can’t expect them to go into detailed deep analysis when they are in the game. I would like to see Bigdog in particular do an additional analysis of his “live play” commentary of selected hands where he may have played it differently
and where he addresses all the comments we are making now.

To be fair, there’s a lot of “feel” spots at a table like this.
For example, I don’t think caio pimenta even looks at his cards half the time, so in that sense, raw aggression and gameflow sort of take over and supercede the math and ranges. Just a wild guess.

lolol both bigdog and kidcardiff block Aussie Stars avatar in this series

It’s fascinating how quickly the dynamics change.

It seems you would probably open or shove if your hand was just a little bit better than K4s? My question is, considering the BB is short but SB has like 25BB, would you choose to shove or just open once your hand is not a fold?
GrayFox
I am new to the site, and started with this series. There was a few hand hand analysis’s in the previous videos, but the pace and the aggression was so hard and fast, it would be hard to really analyze anything here. It is more of just a closing out of the previous videos. Plus there is always time for a more detailed analysis away from his live recording session. Give him a break why don’t ya.

Loved the dual action, would love to better understand the floating. Only negative comment is the incessant lip smacking and heavy breathing by Ben.
