5 stars good series ty guys

Great video Ben, really like your insights.
At around the 9 minute mark you get QQ and consider flatting OOP on around 20bb – can you give us an explanation of why you’d consider something like this and what sort of range you’d be doing it with? It seems pretty unconventional to have a flatting range on that stack size. Thanks!

Curious to know what bdp5 thought about the QQ hand against zackattack..
kingoflimbs1
zackattack “hey random railbirds, lick my huge f***n balls”
classic! made me do a little wee…..suppose thats how you feel during a 20k+ downswing

Thoroughly enjoyed seeing a pro go through the same emotions as the average punter… Struggling with decisions, jubilation when winning a race and the awkwardness of sucking out.. Well done Ben, on edge for the next installment! Great viewing!

Looking forward to the rest of the series!

you guys need to add zackattak as a tpe pro RIGHT FKN NOW. REWARD THE JERKOFFS.

Felt great to suck out on Zack to be honest.. great player but has a big mouth on him behind the Pc screen.

I think my flatting range here is pretty much premiums, i think its important considering if my opponent would be aware of that, ie in this example i dont think he would be aware.. looking back i think 3bet calling is the best option here,

Hehe , by the way ive opened a thread in the forum so any questions involving the hands you are welcome to post them there aswell.

Ben – ref the qq hand which u folded to zachattak — dnt u think he wud raise ur turn bet on such a draw heavy board with u and the other player invloved? My feeling was he had a flush draw and when u both check he bets the river big knowing u cant call with a one pair hand [and the sb is not checking a big hand there]?? What was bigdogs response?
SJOHN11
Sry — left out the “if he had a set”
Ben Warrington
I think him flopping a set is unlikely, only 77 is the viable option, so we´re not really concerned, he feasibly could have flopped a flush draw, i feel that all id beat.. busted spades.
His flatting range pre can be hugely weighted to 109, 87, 98 type hands once he calls down two streets.
It was a close river decision but it was a disciplined fold in play and i think id probably make the same fold on review.

in minute 4, in the Big 109.
Would you be raising this small with strong hands like AA or somethin’ or would you be jamming with hands like that?
And in general, do you balance your ranges on these stakes or are you just going for max-EV in every spot, except obv against players you know to be strong
Ben Warrington
i think with hands like AA there on that board im just gonna flat his bet, particularly on such a dry board like that.. 90% of players who are donk leading there are always weak, so i´d rather try to let him keep betting or improve to worse one pair hands.

Part 2 : UTG minraise and you were UTG +1 with AJ, is that a standard fold ?

Why don’t you remove these troll posts?

Nice video, Ben…
I didn´t like much the AQ vs AK play…
It was kinda obvious that you were behind. Right?
What did you think on that moment? Did you consider folding after his 4-bet?
Anyway, nice played…noone can play every hand perfect…
Cheers,
Cristian

Good video. Screw Zack Attack.

At 36:50 when you 3-bet with 69s why do you fold his 4 bet?
If you put him on something like AJ your hand would still have a 35% chance and you would only be paying 6k for a chance of 28k which would be in the pot.
Wouldn’t that be a +EV situation for you even if he had AJ considering you pay 22% of the pot with a 35% win chance?

Awesome video! It’s nice watch someone else’s thought process with similar successes and mistakes on hands/spots as myself and get a different perspective. Great learning session.

I am really enjoying this series. It is my first time seeing a live sweat. Thank you so much for putting yourself out there for us strangers.
Quick question. On the hand you folded QQ overs to ZackAttack13 on the river. Why bet so small on the flop and turn?
Thanks again for this!
