Excellent Vid as always Danny. I have a question for you and a bit of a scenario of a spot I can relate to that you mentioned. At around 13 mins you get J 3 o in the bb vs the btn raiser and guy on 10 bigs in sb. Questions below:
1) Do you 3b a hand like a2o out of the bb? If so how much would you make it?
2) If the guy flats your 3b and you face a flop like Q 5 5, what is your action?
Thanks man!
1) I think you can either 3bet or fold depending on table dynamics/your image etc. Kind of a game flow situation. I usually make me oop 3bets 2.5-2.75x.
2) Again very player dependant. If he is a station, it is going to be tough to play this flop if you think he has mid pairs and qj/kq/aj in his preflop flatting range that he probably won’t let go. I would probably just cbet 1/4-1/3 pot and reevaluate on the turn.
