    I’m a midstake MTT player, so right up my alley.

    Agree with NexPax, like that tourney is from beginning. We all like to see how you pros accumulate your chips, early mid and late.

    I enjoyed how you left no stone unturned. Explaing opponents ranges, whether your bluff catching, or value betting and all the other details that help donkeys like me improve their game. Thx heaps and cannot wait for the rest.

    Hey Mike enjoyed the video.Thought you explained everything very well.
    I have a few questions:
    Any reason you min-raise even at 10/20 blind levels?

    Any reason you don’t use HUD?

    At around the 10minute mark in the $22 big antes you have AJo bvb,you call the river c/r with the straight.On that board can you ever see him c/r worse hands on the river?

    Hey Greg,
    A) I get into my min-raise strategy in either part 3 or 4…It’s a pretty detailed philosophy so perhaps I could write an article on it at some point if the video leaves some further questions.
    B) I don’t play many tables at a time so I have never found the need for a HUD. I like to trust my “feel” for the game although I can def see the advantages of using one.
    C) If I remember correctly the AJ hand, the board ran out 9,T,Q,K,X with a back door flush completing on the river; so he could have had any JX and been raising for value or of course a bluff…The only hand beating me of course is the back door flush…Which of course he had 🙂 I made some good notes on him and ended up on the same table again deep in the tourney.

    Hey Mike, nice part one. At the 25min mark when you have 78hh on the qq278 board, he makes the weak blocker bet and you call his hand for exactly what it is. If he was to overbet to say 2x pot, turning his weak hand into a bluff to try and rep a slow played Queen, do you think you would still find a call beacause of the hands you beat ?

    So where are the mistakes? Seemed like you played pretty well to me.

    Mike,

    Could you spare a couple of additional thoughts on folding 9Ts to a raise and a call?

    (I think many players would consider the call behind the raise a reason to think about calling the bet, not folding.)
