Good vid bd! Interested in hearing why you folded the 88 at 20:13 to the 22bb squeeze even though you were expecting it. Thx bud.

Great vids man, really have changed the way I think about my stack in later stages of MTTs.
mars1888
yeah for me too! really want to know why u fold vs that 20 bb stack after you owned him in the last 2 hands and he is super angry and tilted…
On the AP table u called with AJo a similar stack after showing J10 the hand before.
I think he shoves there with any small pp plus a lot of broadway cards!! And there is lots of dead money in the pot!
So it would be really good to know why you folded…???!!!
mars1888
i think folding there 88 is just a mistake…doesnt matter how often I look at it!!!
mars1888
..and a couple of hands later he opens with like 20 bbs from UTG A2o and cbets into you and the other stack big stack with just the gutshot on a diamont-draw board. So Im 100% sure he was squeeze shoving there lighter then 88!!! 😉
mars1888
would be nice to get your thinking process on the A high fold vs jaka! I mean he s lnow to play any 2 and he flats you in position and u give up A high on 7676 board vs his first bet?!

Why do you fold 88 vs the squeeze shove?
bigdogpckt5s
I mean I just watched it. I am folding there because even if the the guy is making a move with a hand like Q10 or whatever im flipping. I love where my stack is at this time and just dont want to get into a situation where in my mind im flipping at best. I think its fine to call there but defenetly dont have a issue with folding either.
adog26
hmm, thx big. I think I need to take your thought process to heart especially in the small to mid stakes games I play. I tend to take almost every marginal spot that comes my way even if I was chipping up easily playing a small ball style.

If I were u in the spot of 88 I call the PFR of UTG with the purpose of inducing a shove from BU SB and BB… this will tell me where I am against UTG who is the only guy who can damage me with that stack but if he folds to a squeeze I snap call… there is a lot of dead pot and great odds to call and he cant damage us with less than 30BB…Also at that moment we were playing pretty aggro so our image was horrible… and the guy who squeeze was really tilty imo… I really think that in that spot he is squeezing with any pair… any Axs… A5o+… and a lot of broadways cards… I know u are really good but when I saw that fold I have to stop the video in that moment because I dont believe it really… You are an excellent player imo but I cant uderstand that hand can u explain it? Do u think u made a mistake?
Want to learn from u… this is not a critique
Thanks in advance…

Felt like calling the 88 hand as well… but yeah I can see how u r chipping up slowly so need to take a presumable flip for 20 BBs which will still dent ur stack a bit….love your vids as always…. JAKA JAKA is supper AGGRO… u dont think about calling the turn with A high there? do u think he has a bigger A high there sometime? thoughts? any pp higher than 7 maybe?

hello. Gr8 work Bigdog on the videos.
On minute 5 that ATo. Why to call the flop bet and lead shove the turn? Why don’t u just check-shove flop? what can u represent with a lead shove on that turn?
