As you all know by now, the Full Tilt Poker MiniFTOPS XVIII series has begun. This is a very exciting time for me as I don't have the bankroll to play FTOPS events so the Mini is right up my alley. I also plan on playing a lot of low buy-in satellites into the NLHE events (and will be creating a few test instructional videos for the blog) over the next few weeks. Hopefully I can make a few deep runs and turn a very small investment into a HUGE SCORE!! I have won a few seats into Events # 1, 9, 11 but just missed out on my Main Event Seat (bubbled) I already played Event # 1 ($20+2 / $250,000 Guarantee) but did not even make it to the money On Saturday, December 11th I will be playing event # 9 ($10 Rush Rebuy / $300,00 Guarantee) and Event # 10 ($20+2 Turbo / $150,000 Guarantee) so WISH ME LUCK!!!!
Before I go I would like to post my bust out hand from Event # 1. I am curious as to what other TPE members think about this 3-bet shove.

He flipped over KK and I was in big trouble. I actually hit my 10 on the flop but could not get there and ended up finishing in 4000th ish place. Not the start to the series that I wanted that's for sure. Looking back on it, I may have been able to find a better spot to put my chips in.
– First of all the raise came from MP which shows some strength (if this shove had come from the button or the hijack, it would have been an easier shove)
– My read: He was tight preflop and did not open many pots. I really should have trusted my read and let the hand go. 🙁 Oh well, lessons learned (I hope).
