    I tried to add a comment but got an error.

    Anyway just wanted to say that even though I knew I played badly, made a few big mistakes (KQ and JJ come to mind) I want to say thanks to Wein for taking the time out of his busy schedule to review this donks 1 dollar rebuy.

    I appreciate it a lot Wein and will learn a lot from your analysis. Even though this MTT was months ago I feel I have improved since then and have plugged some leaks.

    I know I suck at MTT’s but this is why we are all here, to learn and improve right? Thanks again Wein. Can’t wait for Part 2.

    Micro/Low Stakes Freeze-Outs Please. Early Stage strats on these types of tourneys could very well be invaluable since the early stage dynamics is different from rebuys.

    as I mentioned freeze-out. I already seen bd’s plays the micros that was rebuys and it was excellent. BD’s early stage video I believe are mid to high stakes and the dynamics on those are quite diff from micro/low stakes. I’m not there yet but hopefully in the future I can play the mid stakes but for now I have to beat the low stakes first.

    sooted, bigdog has said his standard strat in all freezeouts is to play very tight in the early stages and you’ll see this done by many regs. It’s usually because they’re mass multi-tabling and playing a normal TAG game is easier but it’s also to try and establish a tight image against the randoms for when they shift gears after antes and start getting laggier.

    sploit – I think its totally fine to experiment with this approach and see how it works for you. But imo, this is not an easy style to play profitably.

    Plus, in the micros, your edge may come from making less mistakes than your opps, and a more fundumental style like betting your value hands strongly, may be a better approach.
