Hi Andrew!
Thanks for this series. I had a question about the AQ hand about 30 minutes in. You noted the river was a good place to bet a polarized range, but that AQ might not be appropriate for this range, being sort of a middle value hand, but given that you noted we should not be raising a polarized range preflop, what type of hands could we get there with that would be bluff hands? (Value hands seem more straightforward.)

Very good question. QJs comes to mind immediately, but you’re right there aren’t a lot of clear candidates. Even K-high seems like it might struggled to make better fold, but if that’s true, maybe AQ is a value bet after all. I guess mostly I don’t think Hero should have many hands that check flop and turn in the first place.

At the 24 minute mark we’re talking about A8 on a 93TKQ board. Is it harder to represent a jack on the river if the board were 93KTQ? In other words is a 93KTQ board an example of where bluffing is harder to do? The flop is dry.
