Really enjoy the vids Andrew and glad we’ve got some new live training material to look at.

Thanks!

Andrew, why do you raise smaller from earlier position and larger late? This is exactly the opposite of what I do. I am happier getting folds from EP, and playing more pots with position.

curious about the big bet size with the check raise at 17:00 when you had Q8, would you use the same sizing if you had KQ?
Carlos
No would be my guess. I’m basing it on the fact that he didn’t think the villain was strong. Probably better to go big with something strong but vulnerable like A4. You’re not super unhappy to get a fold with that hand. KQ seems good enough to milk it.
That said, I haven’t gotten far enough into the G code to the section where you rumble this hard on the streets 200 bbs deep.
Foucault
Probably. Only reason I can see not to do so is if you think V is going to over-fold, which is of course all the more reason to do it as a bluff. But my experience is that the people who think that’s too big of a raise to make with a strong hand never actually make raises like this as a bluff either.
