like the limp.. to be able to call a smaller raise vs raise and folding to a big 3bet.. i do use that blind vs blind when villain is 3 betting 2 much
MJ23STYLEz
as long as your confident and competent in your post flop play then can def utilize the limp more often than just sb vs bb dynamics

I like your energy its entertaining, most other coaches sound like there depressed and make me so bored i want to kill myself.

thanks bud!!! and yah i know exactly what you mean…imo if a video can grab and hold a persons attention then it makes it much easier for them to learn…poker is a game and should be fun..training videos should be too!

always good content and conversation in your videos. Really enjoy hearing your thought processes and how you approach the hands/dynamics. I think sometimes some of the nuances and intangible things of the game are lost(instincts, gut feelings etc) It’s not always about pot odds and math, there has to be a balance of all those thoughts to be successful. Just because the math says it’s a call, doesn’t make it a call. Keep up the good work MJ!!

hey thanks!! i put a lot of work into these vids for you guys so whether it’s good or bad, i love the feedback..really appreciate the comment bud (fistbump)

Good stuff as always MJ. I have a question about online poker manager actually. I used it when Ignition was Bovada and it worked. For some reason tho I can’t get my histories to work now that it’s Ignition. It’s good to hear that you use it and it works for you on Ignition. Any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong. Like I said it worked for Bovada and I’m not doing anything different I don’t think. Thanks again. Dooval

thanks!! to be honest I’m the WOAT with all computer stuff so not sure what the issue may be..ive never had a problem opening any HH’s since they switched to Ignition…i’d suggest emailing the guy who created it (check the contact page on the onlinepokermanager website) and see if there’s an update or other version for your specific computer

ThiNkBiNk– This is weee (swhitelex). I want to say i really like when you talk in your live vs online play throughout the series. Something I didn’t think I thought too much about in live game is “it’s ok to think about the hand on your turn” I appreciate that thought in live games for I struggle and sometimes I make a bet without the full thought because I am used to the timebank online. I don’t want to be the “9 high like a boss” either.
MJ23STYLEz
thanks Steve!! glad you found some value in one of my rants lol

Had to stop the video to say love the intro thought at one point you were going to start rapping it out!
MJ23STYLEz
lmao that beat is so hype!!! i felt like attempting it but Tim woulda got mad i wasted the minutes on rapping instead of poker ;P

Hey MJ. I’m opening my mind to the idea of just limping with certain hands! When I first started learning poker, everyone talked about how you should always be raising if you’re the first one in the pot, but limping preflop and then outplaying your opponents post flop sometimes can be very useful. Thanks!
MJ23STYLEz
don’t listen to everyone else…poker is a great debate bc their is no one way to play…raising, folding AND limping are all a part of the game…at some point along the way people forgot that bc it got it become popular to be always aggressive and was viewed as “fishy”…one of the keys to BiNking MTT’s is adjusting to your opponents before they can adjust to you, who cares what it looks like when you stacking all the chips 😉

Couple things. 1 love the videos. 2. How true is it that you should avoid bluffing donkeys/fish. 3. I’m a very tight player, how do I loosen up and take aggression, because I always have a feeling I’m beat if they bet into me or raise me, how do I overcome that fear?
