Nate Meyvis has been playing poker for thirteen years. He is a veteran of eleven World Series of Poker, with three cashes and a top-hundred finish in the Main Event to go with several other no-limit hold’em cashes. Before Black Friday, he played many small- and medium-stakes online tournaments as “Mortal Limit” on PokerStars. These days most of his poker tournaments come at Foxwoods or at the World Series of Poker, though he splits his live poker time between tournaments and cash games.
Nate is also an experienced teacher, having taught students at Columbia and Cornell during his graduate coursework and having worked as a calculus and linear algebra tutor as an undergrad at Yale. He is the lead author of _Thinking Tournament Poker_ and a frequent strategy contributor at PokerNews.
