Man, the World Series of Poker is so close I can smell it. As i mentioned in my previous blog, I’ll be getting out a little late this year as I have some family commitments. It’s gonna be tough talking to friends who are already there and missing some of those early events. But family first always! The Colossus is gearing up to me a MASSIVE event. Good luck to all of you guys that are playing that. I’ll be watching the #TPEdge hashtags on Twitter to see how you all are doing.
As for other WSOP business, we are tentatively planning for a TPE meetup on June 19th. It’s always impossible to find a date that works for everyone, but that is the seniors event so it is a day that we figure most TPE pros wont be playing. I’ll be sure to post in the forum once we have everything confirmed. It will likely be at PTs Pub near the Rio for easy travel plus you can all watch Carlos destroy everyone in Shuffleboard!
Also, Matt (theginger45) and I have been talking about doing some episodes of Midstakes Living “live” from Las Vegas since he will be in town as well. And of course we will also be doing our usual episodes of Tournament Poker Edge Live. One thing I think I might try is streaming the WSOP final tables on Twitch with me and Marc doing some commentary and probably drinking a few beers. So if that is something you guys might be interested in us doing, let me know!
Other than that, I am in the middle of a few days off. Going to see my friends in the band Mae play tonight in Chapel Hill. My son has prom tomorrow. And then back on the grind Sunday!
